April Handley was killed in the crash that happened at the intersection of South Quinsigamond Avenue and May Street around 10:55 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15, MassLive reports.
Upon arrival, first responders determined the school bus was empty, but the driver was complaining of injuries, police said.
Meanwhile the driver of the other vehicle, the Shrewsbury woman, was suffering more serious injuries. She was taken to a local hospital where she later died, police said.
The crash remains under investigation.
